The Congress and the TRS leaders clashed with each other when the TRS leaders were about to address a press meet. The Congress leaders just rushed into the press meet and stopped it.

They questioned why the police allowed the press to meet the TRS in such large numbers and how can they stop the Congress MP who was going to distribute the food packets to the poor and needy.

The police stopped MP Revanth while he was proceeding to Secunderabad via Begumpet. Revanth questioned as to why he was being stopped.

When the police officer replied that the public is not allowed on the road, Revanth Reddy said, “I am not public. I am an elected representative.”

Revanth went on to question the police personnel who were also out on the street, and said, “Like you, I am on duty.”

He said that he was on his way to donate generators brought in from Bengaluru to a hospital where he was overseeing COVID-19 relief work.

On the other hand, the police picked up some congress leaders as they barged into the press meet of the TRS leaders.
