No employee will be removed

Nirmala Seetharam the Finance Minister who is drawing flak from the bank employees after the merger of Banks clarified that no employees will be removed from the banks. The idea if for developing and strengthening the banks she clarified.

This is to achieve the raget of 5 trillion dollar economy as being targeted by the BJP Government. The PSUs will be repositioned for the development of the economy she explained.

She assured the members of all the Bank Unions that the workers will not be removed and the merger is for strengthening the bank’s and it is for the welfare of the employees.

The news of pink slips in the banks is ill-informed she clarified. The news of 27 state-run banks being merged to 12 has created a lot of confusion with the bankers as well as the employees.

On the other hand, the Finance Ministry has been announcing a slew of measures for correcting the slow down of the economy in the country. More measures are expected from the Governments side.

Prime Minister Modi is yet to make any statement in this regard. He has been talking about fitness and Ayush medicines.
