Bandaru Dattatreya the former Union Minister who has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is a very popular leader in Telangana. He can be said as one of the founders of the BJP In Telangana.

He was the party President and also the UnionMinister several times. Now he has becme the Governor. The Governor post has been pending since a long time. He is a staunch flollower of RSS and is close to PM and also the President.

Earlier he was dropped from the Ministery for not perfroming well. Now he is back in position.
