On the occasion of the auspicious Karthika Pournami, Kamareddy and Nizamabad MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Monday offered prayers at the Shivalayam here along with her family members.
Kavitha joins the worship of Lord Shiva on the occasion every year. She was among the early visitors to the temple in the day. She was accorded a traditional welcome by the members of the temple committee while the priests performed Abhishekam and Archana. Kavitha said that she prayed for the peace and prosperity of the people.
Kavitha was busy with the GHMC election till this morning. But later she moved for the pooja. After the Pooja she again rushed to Gandhinagar for the electioneering here in the city.
Gandhinagar people have been responding very well to the request of the TRS leaders and Kavitha has working hard for the victory of the TRS candidates here in Musheerabad.
The fight here is between BJP and the TRS. Kavitha the MLC has done a lot of Padayatras also part from meeting the people door to door. She has been campaigning with the welfare schemes.
She also assured that the people who did not get Rs 10000 will be paid after December as assured by the CM KCR.
