Amazon web services will be investing Rs 20761 crore in Telangana. According to K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for industries and Municipal Administration, Amazon will be creating the Asia Pacific Zone and three Availability zones in the near future.
The three zones will have a number of data centres. The Company will start the activity in the early 2022 it is reported. KTR ha welcomed the investment being mooted by Amazon and said that the Telangana Government would cooperate with the company in every manner.
This is one of the biggest foreign direct investment after the formation of Telangana. This shows the proof for ease of doing business in Telangna opined KTR.
The transparency in doing business is the hallmark of Telangana, and that is the reason such a huge investment has come from Amazon for Telangana he said.
KTR in fact has clinched deal during his Davos visit.KTR said that after Amazon many more companies would come forward for setting up the data centres here in Telangana.
Amazon already has the biggest campus here in Telangana and this will further strengthen the business ties between Telangana and Amazon KTR stated.
Both Telangana and Hyderabad people will feel proud of his investment.
