Soon Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam is all set to become a no Horn zone. This is to reduce the noise pollution on the Hill Shrine and keep it very calm.

There is already a plastic ban on the TTD. TTD is also under the no fly zone, and flights are not allowed to fly over the hill shrine. Now Tirumala SP has stated that they would first educate the vehicular Traffic not to sound horns while climbing or coming down from the ghat Roads.
After that, they will implement the orders seriously. The TTD board has already decided that they would purchase e- vehicles that is the power driven vehicles for the sake of pilgrims to reach Tirumala. This will reduce noise pollution and also air pollution.

Because of Corona the pilgrims have been reduced to just 3000 per day for Darshan. Now the number will be increased in a phased manner soon.
The Pilgrims are nor being allowed ot reach the hill shrine by foot. Only people who have tokens will be allowed for the Darshan. The Tokens are limited to just 3000 only.

Covid rules and social distancing are observed on Tirumala. Pilgrims are allowed for Darshan only after Thermal screening. The pilgrims are hopeful that the tokens number would go up in the near future.

Meanwhile, the board members of the TTD are scouting with the idea of using a conveyor for the pilgrims to have darshan of the Lord. The pilgrims would be standing on the conveyor belt and it keeps moving in the sanctum sanctorium.
