The Telangana State Energy Department is organizing a one-day conference, expo and awards congregation — 2nd National Power Summit in Hyderabad on July 12, 2019.
Under the mentorship of Ajay Mishra, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Energy, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology, Govt of Telangana, the conference is going to act as a platform to showcase Telangana state as a global destination and as a land of opportunities for the implementation of smart ideas for the benefit of people.
“Today Telangana is the 2nd largest solar energy generator. Further Telangana is providing 24*7 power to all section of society. It is the only state in India providing 24 hours free power supply to over 23 lakh agriculture consumers. I am Looking forward to witness many such best practices, innovations trends & Technologies in the energy sector from other states and countries at the 2nd National Power Summit to be held here in Hyderabad on July 12, 2019” stated Ajay Mishra, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Energy, Environment, Science & Technology, Govt of Telangana.
“This summit aims to create a unique platform for idea exchange, networking and exploring opportunities for collaboration, while setting the policy agenda for the holistic development of energy eco-system in the state and country”.
The theme of the summit will be focusing on ‘Renewable Energy, Conventional Energy, Smart & Advanced Technologies in the Energy Sector’ — key trends, outlook and best practices of Government Initiatives, Energy Infrastructure, Electric Vehicle / Green Transport, Renewable Energy Integration -Enabling Technologies (Information Technology, Internet of Things, Mobility Solutions, etc.). Utility Perspective – Smart Grids, Cloud Computing – Communication Issues and Solutions, Cyber Security -Next Steps for ERP and other essential aspects in the energy sector.
