The Telangana police have seized around 2 lakh vehicles for breaking the COVID rules and coming on to the rods. Around 5 lakh cases are pending in the courts against the vehicle owners.

But there is no proper Court infrastructure to resolve these cases. The Judges and the Magistrates are overburdened. They are unable to resolve regular cases,. How will they resolve the 5 lakh cases pertaining to the Vehicles is a big question.

Additinal CP Anil (Traffic) said that the cases were booked go see that the lockdown was implemented in a proper form. 62000 Vehicles were seized in the Hyderabad city.

The cases are foisted as per the Vehicular act. South Zone area has figured on the top in traffic violations. Now crossing the 3 kilometres distance is also a violation.

Right now there is no other way but to go to the court for getting the vehicle back. The Government must find a way out where the people can pay the fine online and get the vehicle back easily.

The idea is to avoid the court and lawyer fee. The Government could double the fine to avoid the court’s ad also overburdening the courts. So it is better for the people to follow the lockdown in the right perspective.
