While K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana is trying to reach Delhi for an alternative front against the Congress and the BJP, his son K Taraka Rama Rao is being groomed to take over as chief of Telangana soon after the next general elections.
KCR is of the opinion that like his son KTR majority of the MLAs should be young. To make way for the youngsters, KCR has thought it fit to take some ministers to Delhi along with him as MPs. So there is every chance that the seniors in the TRS Government may get to contest as MPs in the next election.
Nayani Narasimha Reddy the home ministers relative is being groomed for Musheerabad. Bonthu Ra Mohan the Mayor is getting ready to contest from Uppal constituency. In the same fashion, the sons of Ministers might get the seats of their fathers. T Srinivas Yadav, Pocharam Srinivas, Padma Rao are some of the names doing rounds for the post of MPs. Some new faces will also be considered as the leaders from that area would be drafted for the party work.
Winning or losing is a different matter, but KCR is all set to make that impact at Delhi for the next elections. He would stun the Congress and BJP here in the state, by giving alternative candidates in the constituencies and elevating others to Delhi.
KTR is already in control of the situation in Telangana and KCR is getting the feel of Delhi with the proposed peoples front. Many changes are likely in Telangana and the mantra would be winning the elections.
The MIM is already with TRS. The Kodandarams party is groping in the dark. The BJP has lost its steam. It has to be seen how far the Congress would be able to match the mighty TRS.
