Finally, NCP leader Sharad Pawar made it clear that a ‘Third Front’ is not possible and what will KCR do now is the question? Will the TRS Boss still reach out to other national and regional political parties in the country?
Apparently, KCR is closely working with popular political strategist Prashant Kishor to counter the BJP but somehow the dots are not getting connected.
Even Prashant is joining the Congress party to forge an alliance of other parties to take on the might BJP led by Modi and Shah.
Amid efforts by opposition parties to forge a united front against the Modi Shah jodi for the next parliament elections, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that the Third Front is not possible without the Congress party.
“The Congress is still the second biggest party in the country that is why it is important to take them along,” Pawar said.
Some opposition leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have called for opposition unity for the 2024 General elections.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had earlier met Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as part of efforts towards opposition unity. He also wanted Mamata and also Stalin to join him in forging an alliance against the BJP minus the Congress party.
But for all of them, Congress is the part of the grand alliance and they cannot imagine a front minus the Congress.
