With Prashant Kishore taking over the role of forming an alternative at the National level by joining the Congress, the role of KCR for said new party and alternative is in question?.
Prashant was supposed to help KCR for becoming the alternative to the BJP. Now Prashant himself has taken the responsibility. The other leaders have opined that the so-called alternative is not possible mins the Congress party.
Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been waging a war against the ‘communal and divisive politics of the BJP government at the Centre for the past few months, was not among the signatories of this joint statement.
TRS leaders maintained complete silence over why Chandrashekar Rao was not part of this joint statement against the BJP.
NCP and Shiv Sena also did not sign the statement against the BJP. Now there is a scope that the opposition might get split into two groups which would be an advantage to the BJP.
When the opposition under one banner cannot go against the BJP, what will the two groups do is another question.
Taking all this into account it has to be seen if KCR will continue to take the services of Prashant Kishore.
