Akhil Akkineni is yet to make a mark in the Tollywood. Being the son of Nagarjuna and Amala who are big films stars, Akhil also wants to hit the bullseye in Tollywood. But due to some reason or the other, the last movie Hero was a disaster. Now he coming back with Mr Manju. The shooting part is complete and ti would be ready by December end.
But there are big ticket films in the pipeline. Senior NTRs biopic is one of them which would be a competition to Akhil. Apart from the content, the right time for the film to get released is also very much necessary.
First, the producers wanted Manju to get released during the Christmas, but there are other films in a row during the year-end. Now they are looking at Sankranthi. For Sankranthi Balakrishna and other superstars would be there, where Akhil might get dwarfed.
So Manju could be in February or March.
