TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu meeting Rahul Gandhi has changed the equations for the TRS and KCR in Telangana. Earlier people thought about the unholy alliance between the Congress and TDP, but now Chandrababu meeting Rahul directly and openly has changed the equations for KCR.
People in Telangana are of the opinion that Chandrababu is just a political opportunist and he did not bother about the sentiments of Nandamuri family and that they have started TDP to fight against the Congress in specific and to bury the Congress. The idea of joining the Congress bandwagon and creating an alternative front by Chandrababu may benefit him Andhra Pradesh to some extent, but it will not help him in any way in the state of Telangana.
The Delhi tour of Chandrababu and the way he is going back to his Congress roots will help TRS in reaching its target of 100 seats. Contesting just 15 seats in Telangana indicates that they are nowhere in the region. It is just an advantage that the TDP leader took shelter under the roof of the Congress to fight against the BJP. He was in no position to take on BJP and that was the reason he is aligning with the Congress in the name of unity of the opposition.
If Congress was branded as a synonym for Congress, then the TDP has joined the Corrupt Congress and they will encourage the corruption again. The people think that it is better to continue KCR.
