The central government is trying its level best to provide vaccination to all said Union Minister of State for Home Koshan Reddy. Talking to the people from a medical Channel, Kishan Freddy said that giving the vaccine to 130 crore people a big challenge.
The Government is trying to take a vaccine from different sources and people need not worry he assured. The production of the vaccines will be increased by taking the patent rights he explained.
The companies are also trying to ramp up the production of the doses he announced. The technology transfer will be done from Bharat Biotech and also Serum so that the production of doses can be increased as required he said.
An MOU is being reached with different companies to increase the production of covaxin and also the Covishield he stated. Kishan Reddy has been visiting various hospitals in Telangana and reviewing the arrangements made for treating Corona patients.
He suggested that political milage should not be derived out of the Corona issue. The central government was taking all steps to do justice to all the states in terms of allocation of the Vaccines.
Meanwhile, the vaccination process has been stopped for today due to some software issues. PM Modi on the other hand has convened a meeting today on Covid with the health ministers of all the states.
