People are unable to forget and digest the death of Amma Jayalalithaa. They are still at her cremation place and at her house remembering her and her services to the poor.

People continue to throng Jaya’s memorial on the Marina and her Poes Garden residence. Visitors expressed that the homage period was too short for them to pay their last respects.

With crowds swelling about 500 policemen had been deployed near the beach and to ensure that the sanitation is well kept corporation also deployed additional staff to keep the beach clean.

“I have not seen the AIADMK leader from close quarters and asked my father to accompany me to Poes Garden. The house is sprawling and we were allowed only till the entrance portico”, said Abhiram.

“My family members wanted to pay homage to the leader, but due to the crowd and time factor, we watched the funeral on TV.” “After hearing the news that the public was allowed to see the Poes garden, I rushed with my brother”, said Ravi.
