WHEREAS, the Two (2) Members of Telugu Desam Legislature Party viz., (1) Sri Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and (2) Sri Mecha Nageswara Rao in the Telangana Legislative Assembly have submitted a letter to the Honble Speaker stating that all the two Members of the Telugu Desam Legislature Party have resolved to merge with Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party under Paragraph 4 of the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of India and requested to take appropriate action in the matter.
AND WHEREAS, the Leader, Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party has communicated to the Honble Speaker that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party has agreed the request for the merger of the aforesaid Two (2) Members of Telugu Desam Legislature Party into Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party in Telangana Legislative Assembly and requested to take necessary action.
THEREFORE, the Honble Speaker has taken note of both the communications and deemed to have merged the said Two (2) Members in all, of the Telugu Desam Legislature Party with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party in Telangana Legislative Assembly in terms of Paragraph 4 of the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of India. Accordingly, seats are allotted to them alongwith Members of Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party in the House.
