The TRS is gearing up to do a dharna against the BJP for the reduction in fuel rates. KCR the TRS chief clarified that he will participate in the Dharna in person against the centre.
He clarified that the Telangana Government never hiked the taxes in any form and that it was for the centre to reduce rates. The Petrol must be sold for Rs 77 per litre he explained.
There was no rise in the rates of crude oil he pointed out. The BJP Government at the centre unilaterally raised the rates of petrol and also diesel he pointed out.
He didn’t mention the LPG rates which have also gone up like anything. The common man is overburdened with the cascading rates he explained.
There is no question of reducing the fuel rates from the Telangana side he clarified. 18 states have reduced the fuel rates after the centre announced the reduction in fuel rates.
There was no need for rising the fuel rates as there was no hike at the International level he pointed out.
