People from across Telangana are coming to Hyderabad. Almost all the roads from 31 districts are leading to Kongarakalan. The pink flags are fluttering across the state. More than 20 roads have been laid to the meeting venue and the roads are lined with pink flags and buntings welcoming the people en route. People are coming on motorcycles also. Last night there was some rain at the venue but no one bothered and the things are in place now.
It looks like most of the farmers are coming to Hyderabad on tractors. More than 2000 tractors are coming to Kongarakalan. Six to 7 people are using one tractor for the transport. It is like a Mela and jatara from all the districts leading to Hyderabad. Perhaps this is the first meeting where people have come one day in advance, camping here and then attending the meeting. The entire Telangana is waiting to hear KCR this evening.
K Chandrasekhar Rao would address a cabinet meeting this noon at pragathi bhavan and then in the evening, he would address the public meeting. The announcement on elections and the dissolution of Assembly are expected apart from some more welfare schemes for the people of Telangana.
The tractors are decked up with the Flexis of TRS and KCR so that they can have the shade over them. Some of them are coming with band Baja. People from Warangal, Khammam and other places have already started. Hundreds, of Tractors, DCMs, school buses are on the way. Some of them are saying that they are going to KCR jatara. Some others are saying Telangana Jatara, Hyderabad Jatara etc.
Some of them have cooked on the roadsides like Vanta Vaarpu time. There is happiness among that KCR the CM of Telangana has done a lot for them and they have to respond and thank him at the meeting. Most of them are starting one day ahead to be on time by noon at the meeting venue. It is all pink everywhere.
The farmers are expecting more sops and that they expect that KCR would announce on September 2. Water, food, medicines and all other facilities are in place here at the venue.500 acres is the main meeting area where people would sit in front of the main stage and the other 1500 acres is for parking and other facilities.
The bundobust is in pace, a special control command is monitoring the situation and the movement of the vehicles here in the city. Meanwhile KTR the IT Minister is also monitoring the flow of people on an hourly basis. He wants to ensure that the public coming for the Prathi Nivedana Sabha don’t face any problems.
The workers are sprucing up the area so that no water logging is there. Sand is being used to cover the waterlogged areas here and there. So far no one has attempted a meeting of this magnitude earlier. It is a history and the September 2 will be remembered.
