Cyberabad Police commissioner Mr Stephen Raveendra IPS, Joint Commissioner, Traffic Mr Narayana Naik IPS, Ms Shilpavalli, DCP, Madhapur, Mr Krishna Yedula Secretary SCSC, Joint Secretary Traffic Forum, SCSC Mr Sriniwas CR along with other Traffic officials conducted an interactive session with the IT industry representatives. The meeting focused on various bottlenecks, suggested changes to seek feedback from the industry and to collect their suggestions on improving the traffic scenario and how to reduce commuting time of the road users.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Stephen Raveendra IPS Said that before implementing certain measures to decongest some of the junctions, lot of scientific study done was done at the junctions and main roads, during peak traffic hours and non- peak hours and by involving the road users, the new traffic diversion decisions were taken and even though some of the measures lead to circuitous route, the idea is to ensure that instead of having multiple stops, the vehicles can continue to move at a smooth pace without any interruptions.
Speaking at the interactive session of the IT Industry, Mr Krishna Yedula, Secretary General, SCSC said that it has been the pro-active approach of the Cyberabad police leading to many solutions and today’s meeting is another example on how SCSC & Cyberabad Traffic police is collaborating with the industry by having two way dialogue and accepting all good suggestions from the industry to improve traffic flow in the IT corridor. He has thanked the IT industry representatives who have gathered in large numbers from over 100 organizations.
Mr Narayan Naik, Joint CP Traffic has updated the road users about the progress of construction of flyover near Gachibowli junction and how traffic police have taken various measures to cause least inconvenience till the completion of the flyover, by opening of alternative routes. He has presented the IT Industry how Cyberabad traffic police is preparing for the coming monsoon as well.
