Telangana RTA is gearing up to issue the Guidelines to see that the new series of TG numbers are implemented for the new Vehicles that will roll out in the coming days.
From now the Vehicles will carry the number plates with TG in the name of TS. Initially, reports were doing rounds that there was a possibility that even old vehicle owners would have to make changes to the number plates and switch over to the new series.
If all vehicles were to have the new numbers or series, the owners would have to spend a minimum of Rs 400 to get the new number plates.
The Government is not for overburdening the vehicle owners in the name of changing the old number plates with TS. They will continue as it is.
The Transport Department is also preparing to release guidelines in this regard in a few days.
It is taking steps to avoid burdening the motorists.
