It looks like the CLP will be merged with the TRS just before the session of the Assembly in Telangana. Just one Legislator is required for the TRS to move the resolution before the speaker in the Assembly for the proposed merger. With the resignation of Uttam Kumar Reddy, the number has come down for the Congress party. There is every chance that Congress might lose Huzurabad now.
The TRS has been waiting for the opportune time and now that Rohit has agreed to join the TRS it is going be easy for the TRS. Rohit was in TRS earlier and later joined Congress and has won against the Tandur strong man Mahendar Reddy. Rohit has met K Taraka Rama Rao the working president of the party recently and the line is clear for him. Mahendar has already become an MLC now.
Rohit has become close to former MP Vishweshwar Reddy after joining the Congress. Now Vishweshwar Reddy has lost the election and will be isolated in the Ranga Reddy politics. The very existence of the Congress will be in question and it is very hard to revive the same in the Telangana. Sabitha Indrareddy and her son have already joined the TRS and Sabitha Indra Reddy is expecting to be taken into the cabinet once the expansion takes place.
If Sabitha becomes the Minister the people of RR district will be happy and they will have a power centre in the district where they can depend upon.
