Swachhta Hi Seva on “The theme of Plastic Waste Shramdaan” was organised on 2 nd October 2019 at Telangana State Pollution control Board, Head office,Sanathnagar involving public representatives, school children and Employees.The Chief Guest on the Occasion was the special chief secretary to EFS;T Mr.Rajeshwar Tiwari .
Speaking on the occasion he stressed the need to curb plastic pollution which is degrading the environment. He expressed to adapt the principle of reduce, reuse and recycle the plastic. Single use plastic should be curbed by allwhich is choking nalas,drains and rivers.Auto rally was Flagged off by Mr.Rajeswar Tiwari ,Plastic recycle App was launchedand also plastic shramdaan was conducted by NGO’s.
about 150 participants has gathered focusing on the theme “Swachtha Hi Seva” Member Secretary also spokeon the occasion and emphasized the need to shun especially single-use plastic andpromote jute and cloth bags. Anil Kumar Reddy Plastic manufacturers an association president and chief Environmental Engineer Vishwanatham and other Employees ofTSPCB has participated on the occasion.
