Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan and Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya along with Union Minister of State for Home Gangapuram Kishan Reddy will be participating in the Bathukamm here in Hyderabad this evening. The Bathukamma is being held at Indirapark in front of NTR stadium here in Musheerabad.
State BJP President Dr Laxman and some other BJP leaders are also expected to participate in the Bathukamma in a big way here at the Indirapark which is in front of the Dharna Chowk.
Meanwhile, Governor Tamilisai has been participating in Bathukamma program one way or the other on a daily basis. She met the Jagruthi chief Kavitha who was instrumental in taking Bathukamma to International level.
Governor Tamilisai distributed sarees also to some women for Bathukamma. She played bathukamma on her own and immersed the flowers in the waters.
People are happy to see that Tamilisai even though from Tamilnadu is following the traditions of Telangana in a big way. She is maintaining coordial relations with all the political parties.
Yesterday she was with the Chief Minister KCR at the Bapu Ghat and paid rich tributes to Mahatma.
