Supreme notices to CM & CBI

The Supreme Court today comprising Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice SVN Bhatti asked the CBI court why there was an inordinate delay in the investigation into the cases of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Supreme Court asked the CBI court to give the reasons for the delay in resolving the case and adjourned the hearing to January next year.

The notices were served to CM Jagan and also the CBI.

All the respondents in the case have also been served notices by the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, YCP rebel MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed a petition urging the Supreme Court to shift the case to another state, as it was getting delayed.

RRR also mentioned that the CBI court had already adjourned the case 3071 times.

He also informed the apex court that Jagan also obtained an exemption from the CBI court with regard to appearing for the hearing of the case.

There are hundreds of discharge petitions filed in this connection, RRR mentioned in the petition.
