Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of Mimicry artist Padmasree Dr.Nerella Venu Madhav. The Chief Minister described him as a person who brought name and fame to the mimicry art as well as universal recognition to it. The Chief Minister KCR has issued instructions to the Chief Secretary that the funeral of late Venu Madhav to be conducted with state honours.
KCR said late Venu Madhav has become famous as a grand old man of mimicry by striving hard to include the mimicry art in the educational syllabus. CM said that in his death the artist world has lost a great personality. He conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family. Nerella Venu Madhav breathed his last on Tuesday after suffering from illness for some time.
Late Venu Madhav was born on 28th December 1932 in Mattewada of Warangal. He was MLC from 1972-1978. He received several accolades after performing several mimicry shows nationally and internationally. On the recent State Formation day Late Venu Madhav washonouredd by the state government.
