The TRS is ready with sealed covers for the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the GHMC. The newly elected corporators would visit the local Temple and after Puja they will attend the meeting with K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT and Municipal Administration at TRS Bhavan here in Banjarahills.
The Minister KTR will give a direction to the Corporators as who they should participate in the development of the city in a big way so that it reaches the International standards.
There is a talk that the TRS is all set to elected two ladies as Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Fasiuddin who was the deputy Mayor may not get any post this time it is learnt.
But we have to see how the things unfold in the coming two hours. The ex-officio members will also vote for the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
The BJP and MIM are also coming the council hall with their own strategy it is reported. But the system is already in place in favour of the TRS it is reported.
The Corporators will take oath and then the Mayor and Deputy mayor will be announced. Hyderabad collector is the head for this election here at the GHMC council hall.
