Director Murugadoss is said to be keen on remaking the film Spyder back in Bollywood while Mahesh’s wife Namrata feels that the film has universal appeal and will be a perfect launch pad for Mahesh.
She agrees with the director that a film made in sci-fi genre would be great to say ‘hello’ to Bollywood.
Cut to Murugadoss, he has remade films like Ghajini and Tupaki earlier in Bollywood, so he has similar plans even now.
Some sources revealed that Mahesh is expected to take a call on the Hindi version soon keeping Namrata’s inputs in mind, while few sources trashed these talks as baseless rumors.
“Never there was a plan to take Spyder to Hindi. They always focused on Telugu and Tamil versions only.
Even Mahesh and Namrata didn’t have anything like a Bollywood debut on the mind”, a source close to Spyder camp said.
