The proposed industrial corridors for the Telugu states must be done on war footing basis suggested the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. Venkaiah held a review meeting with the officials and Ministers concerned with the industries.
He suggested that all the projects supposed to be done in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana must be done on a fast track basis. Earlier also Venkiah has reviewed these development programs when he was the Union Minister in Delhi. But some of the Ministers found fault with Venkaih for calling the officials and Ministers and reviewing the programs of development.
Some of them opined that as a minister he had no right to do so. But now as the Vice President of the country, he has done a review for the proposed and the ongoing projects to be done in the state of Andhra Pradesh and also Telangana.
It may be noted that some members of the Amaravathi JAC have met Venkaiah and requested him to see that Amaravathi was not changed and it should remain as the capital.
Venkaih assured that he would bring the matter for discussion at an appropriate forum at the right time.
