Giving special status is the only solution said the AP Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy. He made his point today at the NITI Aayog meet here in Delhi in front of the Chief Minister. He stated that Andhra Pradesh all the requirement to get a special status he said.The Government must fulfil all the promises made in the parliament during the division of the Telugu states he demanded. Jagan also quoted to the Prime Minister that the BJP manifesto has in fact promised for special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan also gave the copy of cabinet decision on giving the status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. Reeling our various hardships being faced by the farmers and other sections of the society here in the state, Jagan urged for the helping hand of the BJP Government.The IT sector is concentrated in Hyderabad and AP is just dependant on the agriculture he pointed out. The income of Andhra Pradesh is very less than that of Telangana he pointed out.
The debt of AP is to the extent of 2.59 lakh crores Jagan stated. The youth are migrating for the sake of employment he pointed out and said that only the special status can save the state to some extent.Prime Minister Modi should kindly look into the issue and give special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh as per the assurances given in the parliament Jagan said.
