The Sama Veda Parayanam (Koutuma) will commence in Tirumala on May 1 onwards.
This will last up to June 30th. Six batches of Vedic scholars will render this at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple every day between 9am and 10am.
The entire workforce of TTD should during rise up to the situation during the time of crisis and need of the hour to render services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims at any time without causing any hindrance to devotee services, asserted TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
A meeting was held at Seva Sadan 2 in Tirumala on Wednesday evening wherein top brass officials from the district, TMC, HoDs, Principals, employees representatives of TTD participated.
Addressing the gathering the EO gave a clarion call to the TTD employees, whenever a situation of crisis or emergency arises, all the employees should stand upto the situation and ensure that the pilgrims are not put any sort of inconvenience.
“The Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi always given importance to Swacchta and that is the reason even the Swacch Bharat mission logo is Spectacles of Bapuji. Likewise, all the employees of TTD irrespective of cadre should gear up even to discharge sanitation duties at anytime for the next few days till a backup mechanism for sanitation workers be worked out.
The EO also thanked District Collector Sri Venkatramana Reddy, SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy, TMC Commissioner Smt Harita and above all the legislators Sri Karunakar Reddy, Sri Bhaskar Reddy who supported TTD during the crisis hour to a great extent.
He also said the services of Srivari sevaks shall also be utilised whenever necessity arises.
