Going with the very joyous mood of the Global Community in general and all Indians in particular, we the Management, Students & Staff of All Saints’ High celebrated the Sainthood conferred on to Mother Teresa of Calcutta – the Angel of Peace & Mercy on 19th Sept…2016
An Inaugural Assembly was held for the whole of High School at the High School Quadrangle. The Chief Guest for the Programme was G.Gopala Krishna Marar, (Former) Director of All India Radio & Doordarshan, Hyderabad, assembly was followed by Inauguration of the Exhibition on Mother Teresa, at the newly made venue named as “MOTHER’S HALL” with the Theme : ‘Mother Teresa – Her Vision & Mission’.
We were indeed honoured to have Shri. G. Gopala Krishna Marar as our Chief Guest for the Day who is one of our illustrious Alumnus (1941 to 1953). He had the rare privilege to interview Mother Teresa – the Bharath Ratna Awardee – in the year 1980 when she had come down to Warangal as the Chief Guest for the 3rd Annual Convocation of Kakatiya University, wherein she had shared the dais with Late. Professor Jai Shanker, the Telangana Ideologue. We had played the sound track of the interview in the Inaugural Assembly itself on the LED screen, where the whole school heard the interview with awe and wonder.
Shri G. Gopala Krishna Marar was overjoyed to come to his own school and moreover he met his Teacher Bro. George Parellal (Then his teacher) he thanked each and everyone for his warm welcome. He said to the students that we have to respect our parents, teachers.
