Yes, he is right. Ram Gopal Varma directed movies without any experience. That is what he said. After seeing Godfather and using the sequences in the name of inspiration has been his USP. Why does he need experience? RGV in the name of inspiration takes story and sequences from Hollywood movies and now says he had no experience for direction.

For creating a new movie one needs experience. For a rehash no one needs experience. Satya was in Tamil with kamal Hassan, Satya was in Hindi with JD Chakravarthy. Do we need experience for this kind of movies? Nayakudu by Mani Ratnam is almost the Tamil version of Godfather . We don’t need experience for this.

Teja the director made the rehash of Seethakoka Chiluka with Nithin. It is a love story rehashed from Bharati Raja. We don’t need experience for this. So claiming that they made or directed movie without any experience is not a big thing. Rehashing in the name of inspiration is also not right.

For example, Puri Jaggannadh copied the lift scene for Pokiri from Maro Charitra. No one properly observed that. You don’t need experience for lifting a good sequence. In Maro Charitra kamal and leading lady has a song sequence in the lift.

The same was rehashed by Puri for Mahesh.

So there is no need of experience for direction. Trivikram is also an expert in lifting scenes from Hollywood.
