Rajinikanth’s 2.o which was made with a budget of over Rs 500 crore has already recovered Rs 350 crore according to the trade pundits. The satellite rights, the digital rights and the distribution rights were also sold in some territories and ti fetched the producers around Rs 350 crore it is reported.
In Tamilnadu and other areas, the distribution rights are kept with the producers as they are expecting more profits. The AP and Telangana rights were sold. Here Raini almost looks like Arnold and a Robocop. The movie has been postponed several times for improving the quality. Along with Rajini, Akshay is also doing a pivotal role in the movie.
This will bring a lot of audience from Bollywood. The satellite rights were sold for Rs 120 crore and the digital rights were sold for Rs 60 crore. Some territories were not sold.
It is releasing in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu for the time being and depending on the response it will be dubbed and distributed in other languages also.
