Senior Congress leaders have impressed upon Rahul Gandhi to take over the party again. It is reported that Rahul Gandhi has agreed to lead the party again.
The latest decision is that as part of reviving the Congress party across the country, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is planning to tour the length and breadth of the country and also do pada yatras.
The outcome of the padayatras across the country in various states by the regional party heads in the recent times has yielded rich dividends. Big NTR, Chandrababu, YS Rajasekha Reddy and his son Jagan have done padayatras and have won the elections with a huge majority.
Seniors in the Congress party have suggested to Rahul Gandhi that he must takeup the tour as the one nation -one poll elections are round the corner.
If the snap polls are announced by the BJP, then there will very less time for other to wakeup and campaign for the party. Sonia Gandhi the party chief will be sitting with the disgruntled elements in the party to sort out issues.
The Congress leaders have succeeded in reuniting the elders and juniors along with the youth so that the party will wake up from the slumber. Congress is in Coma in some states and it cannot be revived for the time being.
Andhra and Telangana are the two states where there is no congress practically. Lets hope they will work hard and Rahul will be able to revive the party in a big way in the coming days.
