Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided that the old system of Registrations will continue in the state and that the public in general should not have any issue further.

The state of Telangana has stopped the slot booking of the registrations of the non-agricultural properties. KCR has announced that there is no need of any slot booking and the people can go directly for the registration of the properties.

Chief Minister Rao will today hold a high-level review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan here on Saturday to chalk out strategy for the non-agriculture lands and properties registration in view of the orders given by the High Court on the matter.

Along with the Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar senior Revenue Department officials will participate in the review meeting. The copy of orders given by the High Court on the matter have not reached the state government as yet.

Todays meeting is scheduled to discuss at length on the orders given by the High Court and take a decision accordingly.

The CM KCR would discuss with the Revenue department officials, Law officers whether to file an appeal against the High Court Orders or prepare guidelines in accordance with the High Court directive and take a final decision accordingly.

There is every chance that the state Government might appeal to the Supreme Court against the verdict of the High Court on the said registrations.
