The poll strategist Prashant Kishore who was instrumental in getting the BJP to power in 2014 is still with the BJP it looks like. Nitish Kumar the number one man in JDU made a startling revelation that it was the BJP chief Amit Shah who has recommended Prashant to be taken as the number 2 man in the party. Nitish said that Amit Shah dialled him twice to see that Prashant was taken into the party in the number two position.
Nitish also endorsed that he like Prashant and capabilities.
This clearly indicates that Prashant who could not deliver the job properly for the Congress party is still with the BJP and uses the party clout for his future. Prashant has worked for YSRCP and there were rumours that he was drafted by the TDP. Prashant also participated in meetings with Jagan and snubbed Roja openly. He was the man who advised Jagan to go on a padayatra and it is paying rich dividends for Jagan now.
But later Prashant announced that he was going back to the grassroots. later he joined the JDU under the leadership of Nitish. The idea is to develop the party from the grass root level in Bihar and see that it comes to power again. He would see that they get large numbers of MP seats also here which would help the BJP to come back to power again.
Prashant refused to work with the BJP directly. Prashant was the man who was instrumental in using the social media for the BJP and making Modi the PM of India. There is a chance that Prashant might take over the JDU in the near future. It is crystal clear that he will be there for the BJP in times of crisis and also for the strategies as Amit Shah is the man who got him a position in JDU.
