The procession with the mortal remains of Bharat Ratna in a glass coffin along with the armed forces has begun and it would reach the BJP Headquarters by 11.30 it is expected. The final journey will begin around 12.30 from the party office to the banks of Yamuna and the funeral would be done with full state honours. PM Modi said that it like as if he has lost his father.
The place is named as Smrithi Sthal and arrangements are in full swing for the same.
Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi the Congress leaders and AP CM Chandrababu was seen at the house of Vajpayee and paying the tributes. 
Huge crowds have joined the procession. Traffic was not allowed on the procession roads and the other roads are open for the regular traffic. The courts will be closed for half a day and most of the cases may be postponed. There is some confusion about the banks, some of them are closed and some of them are open.
