Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has thrown his weight behind Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni over their request for a pay hike for their colleagues.
Kohli, Dhoni and Team India coach Ravi Shastri are scheduled to have met COA chief Vinod Rai in Delhi.
The Indian cricketers’ central contracts saw a two-fold rise with top players in group A earning Rs 2 crore annually. Earlier, they were drawing Rs 1 crore.
