Union Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy and the national BJP leader DrLaxman were able to convince Pawan Kalyan the Jana Sena Chief to withdraw from the GHMC race.
Some Jana Sena candidates have filed the nominations and they will be forced to withdraw from the race. People have been branding Pawan as a part-time politician and they are right.
Even if Pawan campaigns for the BJP, it will not make any difference in Hyderabad. Pawan has no voter base or cadre base in Hyderabad. One way the BJP in fact helped Pawan from losing his credibility.
Jana Sena would have lost miserably in the elections or would have spoiled the chances of BJP to some extent. Pawan also announced that his party will travel with BJP in AP and also in Telangana in the near future.
Pawan is already busy with several movies and he has no time to campaign for the coming elections. Pawan also has no funds to spend for the candidates in the GHMC elections.
Pawan announced that Modis leadership is needed for the country and that the people must support the BJP. Dr Laxman and Kishan Reddy first met Nadendla Manohar and then talked to Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan agreed to support BJP in the GHMC elections.
