The panic of deaths will destroy more lives than the virus said the Supreme Court. The centre must prevent the migration of people from place to place to prevent the virus from spreading further the court said.
A portal should be created by the centre to stop the fake news and given the real data and figures pertaining to the Corona Virus the court stated.
The community leaders and the trained counsellors must instil confidence among the people the court suggested. The nervousness and the panic will cause more destruction the court opined.
The police should not force against the people in the shelters the court opined. The volunteers must run the shelters rather than the police court said.
A bench led by CJI Bode took up the matter via video conference and ordered the centre to be more vigilant over the Corona issue. The court ordered that the Portal with all the information must be set up in 24 hours.
