It has been decided that the Panchayat elections in the state of Telangana will be held in January. The Notification to this effect has been released by the election commission.
The elections for the Panchayats would be held in 3 phases . The polling will be from 7 am to 1 PM. The counting will be done soon after the polling. The first phase of polling will be on January 21, the second phase will be on January 25 and the third phase will be on January 30 it is announced.
The elections will be held for 12 751 panchayats. There will be restrictions on campaigning also.
