It looks like with the active support of the majority of the political parties the NDA Government will conduct polls at the earliest. That is after 3 years. This kind of election at one go will definitely give all the advantage to the national political parties. This will benefit the BJP in a big way and they may come back to power easily again.
K Taraka Rama Rao the working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) supported the one time poll when he attended the all-party meeting in Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
But the communists opposed the idea of the BJP Government saying that it is of no use to the regional parties. This one time poll would reduce the election expenditure to a greater extent apart from saving the time.The idea is to conduct the poll at one go for the parliament, Assembly and also if possible to the local bodies.
This practice is going on in many countries and they are successful. In a single day, you vote for 3 or 4 representatives in different boxes. it also becomes easy for the security personnel. Both time and money can be saved. That means the BJP will go to polls before the real anti incumbency sets in.
They have been ruling for the last 5 years and they will continue for another 3 years before the one-time polls are conducted.KCR the Telangana CM has taken a right step by conducting elections to the Assembly in advance before the parliament polls. If the one time poll is conducted after 3 years KCR would be completing 4 years in Governance.
