Union Minister Satyapal Singh claimed that the Darwins theory will be proved wrong in the next 20 years. I am not born to apes and my ancestors were not monkeys he said. He was an IPS officer and did PhD in science and says that he is working on it. The Minister represents Bhagpat in Uttarpradesh.
He was Maharashtra cadres IPS officer who later joined the BJP.He is of the opinion that the so-called theory of Man metamorphosised from Apes was not right. He was also the police commissioner for Mumbai and opined that it was our good fortune that a Nationalist government with a Nationalist mind was governing the country.
He said that 99 percent of the universities abroad misinterpret and mistranslate Hinduism. They don’t understand he explained. I am writing a book, there need not be any validation from the west he said. He said that the Darwins theory of evolution is wrong and he will prove it scientifically.Since the man was on earth or seen on earth he was a man and not an ape or a monkey he claimed. Soon after this the HRD Minister Jawdekar suggested Singh not to make such claims and comments.
