The Controversial GST opposed by many sections of the society has completed one year. But the Prime Minister Modi today praised the GST and said that the transparency in the economy has increased. It has boosted the level of growth and accountability he opined.
Modi said that the GST has improved the level of Ease of Doing Business. Modi was of the opinion that the small traders and businessmen have benefitted by the GST. But the reality is that GST was one of the reasons that the BJP has lost some byelections in the recent times.
Saying that this is the team India spirit he congratulated the people. This is the example for cooperative federalism he said.The GST has brought in positive outlook in the Indian economy he stated. He posted the same on Twitter.
