While all other parties are using election vehicles, for the GHMC poll, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi is walking the streets and the length and breadth of Old city for the Campaign.
Owaisi found fault with the campaign is going on. Is this an election to replace the Prime Minister he questioned. Only Trump has been left out of the campaign he ridiculed.
He also challenged the BJP leaders to change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagaynagar. No one can change the name he said. The BJP leaders have been stressing in the election campaign that they will change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar.
Hyder is a Mulsim name and they do not want it to continue. KTR the Minister also found fault with the BJP leaders and asked them if you change the name, will you get kilos of Gold and will the city prosper overnight he asked in an interview.
While Asaduddin is soft peddling for the election, Akbar as usual has provoked the Hindu leaders by saying instead of demolishing the houses of the poor they must remove the samadhis of PV Narsimha Rao and NTR on the banks of Hussain Sagar.
We can conclude by saying that the TRS,BJP and the MIM are in the fray. MIM will easily get around 40 seats in the old city. The fight between the TRS and BJP will be for the 110 seats. TRS is claiming around 100 seats, while BJP is aiming for the Mayor post.
