There may not be any big-budget movies in the near future. It might take easily another year for the producers to set the stage for the big budget movies her in the Tollywood.

Some movies are ready for the release and some others are getting ready for the release. But there are no theatres for the screening. The state Government has to permit the producers for screening the movie.

Ther is a scope that only 50 percent of the audience will be allowed into the theatres. So that distance can be maintained in the there’s to keep a check on the Corona.

How far this will be viable is a different question. Big budget movie like Hirankasyapa which was planned by Gunasekhar the director has been cut to size.

Prabha’s movie with Nag Aswin has been cut to size. Some movies have been shelved. Some directors are planning web series. Some others are planning movies for the OTT platforms with reduced budgets.

So there is a dilemma over the movies for the big screens. Mahesh is doing a movie for Parasuram with medium budget and son a fast track. Pushpa with Allu Arjun was planned for the Pan India audience, but now the Mythir movies are rethinking over the project it is reported.

Some cost-cutting is being planned.
