Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman said that a new education policy would be announced soon. She was presenting the budget for 2020-21 today. The Minister said that the new education will make the youth to become self-reliant.
Online and digital education will be encouraged in a big way.
1. The government has earmarked 99300 crore for the development of the education sector.
2. Online degree education will also be introduced.
3. More doctors will be produced with district-level medical colleges
4. Engineers will be imparted with one-year apprenticeship at the district level
5. There will be a focus on entrepreneurship
6. More job creators will be there in the country
7. A university for Foresenic science to be established
8. Medical education will be strengthened
9. The national tech textile mission will be announced
10. Boost for the manufacturing sector .
