Govt to monitor the health of Banks

The Central Government has decided to improve the health of banks. It has also decided to build the confidence of the investors in the banks. The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharman has announced that 3.50 lakh crores have been allocated to improve the standards and also the functioning of the banks thereby improving the investor’s confidence.

1. Insurance cover for depositor raised from 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakhs
2. To improve the transparency of the functioning of banks
3. The Government will monitor banks health
4. 100 cr allocated for G 20 preparation
5. Pension body to be reformed
6. Rs12300 crore allocated for Swachch Bharat
7. Rs3000 crore for skill development program
8. 3.50 lakh crore for public sector banks
9. 22000 crore for the power sector has been allocated
10.Government to come up with a taxpayer charter
