Today is Nana Patekar the popular villain and the character actors Birthday. Nana was born in 1951. Nana has entered the 70th year.Nanas recent film where he became very popular was opposite Rajinikanth in Kaala.

Kaala was directed by Pa Ranjith the man who directed Kabali. Both the films were a hit in many languages. The other film which brought name and fame for Patekar was Ab Tak Cheppan.

Patekar is popular in doing the characters of police and Politician. Patekar is popular for doing charity to the farmers.

In fact Nana was the first actor to do some charity for the needy people.

Nana is best known for his role in the film Agni Sakshi written by Ranbir for which he won the National award for best supporting actor. He won another National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, and the Film Fare award for best supporting actor for his role in Parinda. He then won the FilmFare Best villain award for his role in Angaar. In 1995, he won the National Award for best actor as well as the Filmfare and the Screen awards for Best Actor for his role in Krantiveer.

Nana also won his second Filmfare Best Villain Award for his role in Apaharan. In 2017 he won the Filmfare Marathi award for best actor for his performance in Natasamrat.

He, along with Irfan Khan are the only actor(s) ever to win Film Fare Awards in the, Best Supporting Actor and Best Villain categories. Patekar was bestowed with the fourth highest civilian honour of India, the Padma Shri award for his dedication in the field of Films and Arts.
