While there is a talk about the advancement of the General polls, the opposition led by the Congress is ganging with one point agenda stop Modi at any cost. Congress party under Rahul Gandhi is planning to have tie-ups across the country with all the regional parties at the respective states at a local level. The idea is to have more number of parties under the opposition banner so that there will be no issue of the votes split. At the same time, Modi and BJP leaders are of the opinion that they must not give any time for the ganging up of the opposition.
KCR the Telangana CM was first averse to the advancement of the general poll. But it is reported that he has told Modi, that the TRS was ready for the polls. The elections are due for Rajasthan, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. But along with this 4 states, Modi is planning to conduct polls for another dozen states where the elections are due in the next six months time.IN all if the polls are conducted by this year end, 15 states will go for elections out of the 29 states. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are in the list along with Odisha, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Delhi, Jammu Kashmir, Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
While KCR is very much confident, Babu seems to be reeling in trouble. He broke the alliance with the BJP. The YSRC and Janasena along with the BJP are gunning for Babus’ head. It is not that easy for Chandrababu now. A slight tilt of margin this side or that side may change the scenario to a larger extent. The winner will have an edge of 2 to 3 per cent and not more than that. The MIM is against the Congress, so the Muslims vote may not go for Congress. It gets split between the parties and a minimum for the BJP also this time. All said and done it will be an interesting election.
